What's Keeping Me Busy?

My Summer Garden

Various tomato plants and marigolds to keep away the bugs.

More tomato plants that will go in the upside down containers.
Parsley and yellow squash that will go in the garden.

Butternut squash in the back. My bean fencing is almost done and
in the foreground some of the potted strawberry plants.

See the one strawberry on the left? It's history. Yummy.
Pepper plants, chili and jalapenos are in the hanging thing.

More strawberry plants and the cactus was our Christmas tree four years ago.

A winter injury that needs some Dr Jude care.

Petunias and Harley. Can't you tell she hates her picture taken?
Then there's the weeding and feeding of the lawn followed by seeding.
Watering everything almost every day in which it's 100% guaranteed
that I too will get watered in the process.
The end result, the yard looks fantastic, the flowers make it pretty,
the garden will be delicious and Harley will still not like her picture taken.

Very cool. Poor little elf lol. That is one thing I am glad I don't have to deal with with mine, weeding. Enjoy your garden!

JUDE! I'm so happy to see photos of your garden!
how on EARTH do you already have strawberries? lucky butch. I'm still waiting on mine. perhaps it's that whole sunshine factor?
everything looks so great - even Harley!

I saw some lawn gnomes that had a mama nursing her baby. I so wanted it but I wasn't sure the roomie would love it quite as much. ha.

Very very nice!!!!! I love this time of year when things start to look so pretty! Let us know how the upside down growing things work out! It is funny to see cactus growing in the ground :)

Poor puppy ... at least you don't dress him up for photos :)

Love your garden. It's such a great feeling to eat what you've grown. Post some harvest pictures this summer please.

My mates have a gorgeous garden too and it's my favourite place to hang out, drink beer and watch the grass grow.
I always think that you grow friends as well as food in a great garden! Looks awesome!

I love the pics! I miss having a garden. And I think I make the same face as Harley, so I can't make too much fun.

Update! I finished putting in the fencing for the beans today. The bean seeds are soaking in water tonight so I can get them in the ground tomorrow along with the rest of the squash. And there's one less or should I say one more strawberry in my belly. :)

Yes you have certainly been keeping yourself busy. You know what they say about idle hands...
So how many of those garden gnomes do you have anyway? Are you a collector? ;)

Sunday when we were out shopping we found one of those strawberry containers and my sweetie swiped a mini berry for me. Shhh, don't tell.

Harley is beautiful. I love black dogs with brown eyebrows. They always look so expressive.

Beautiful! I would love to have my own garden but my dog Bella likes to dig up anything that is in the back yard. Maybe I can ship her to you and you can ship Harley to me??? She does like her picture taken. lol

I'm deeply jealous. I've been trying to grow my own parsley and I've been successful, but I'm moving to an apartment with no outdoor porch. Alas, no tomatoes for me. And I'll have to ditch the parsley.

Your garden looks great! Nothing tastes as good as what you grow yourself. And I think I remember that cactus being a lot smaller than that; it sure has grown.
Life is good, and your little piece of the world reflects that. Great stuff! :)
