Training for Retirement

I'm preparing myself for my well earned retirement days. NO, I don't have a date set yet, it's still far into the future as in years and there's no need to provide any wiseass remarks either ;)

I've heard how some people don't know how to handle their retirement days and I can understand why. When your years have been with a certain group of people on a daily bases and that group is no longer part of your days, that can make for a big hole to fill. I'm not going to have that problem. In fact right now it's work that is getting in the way of my retirement training.

Here's the dilemma that I'm facing today.

What summer classes to choose.......

Piano for the beginner - either Monday or Thursday evening
     Intermediate Ukulele - Thursday evening
     Guitar - Wednesday evening
     Jazz Guitar - Monday evening
     Pickle-ball - Saturday afternoons

I would LOVE to be able to take all of those classes but knowing I would have some time constraints (thanks to work) I'm allowing myself only three of the above options. I'm having a heck of a time deciding.

Pickle ball? I admit I had to google it.

I say ukulele. No one can feel sad if there's a ukulele in the room. You could be "Tip-toeing through the Tulips" in no time. :)

I vote ukulele and guitar... since I play both! :) They are both extremely fun... but your fingers are gonna hurt! ;)

I have been stuck on jazz for days now so I have to go with jazz guitar.

Sounds like a great plan no matter which ones you choose. There's always next year for the ones you don't. Have a great summer.

I already voted, before the Blogger Crash, and I stand by my vote: piano, jazz guitar, and pickle ball. Go!
